Ingredients
1½ cups crushed Snyder's of Hanover pretzel large rods
1½ cups pecans
1½ cups peanut butter
1 package generic dark melting chocolate
Optional:
Substitute or mix in walnuts or other ingredients
Instructions
Prepare a tray or baking sheet that fits in the freezer and cover it with parchment paper.
Add the pretzels and nuts to a large Ziploc bag and crush thoroughly into small pieces.
Dump the mixture into a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, and mix thoroughly until fully combined.
Optional: Refrigerate the mixture for about 1 hour to help the balls hold their shape better.
Heat the melting chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl for about 2 minutes, stirring as needed.
Use a scoop or spoon to form balls from the peanut butter mixture. Drop each ball into the melted chocolate and coat at least 75% of it.
Place each coated ball onto the parchment-covered tray.
Freeze for at least 30 minutes (can be overnight) then transfer to an airtight container.
Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
All ingredients are shelf stable, so these keep well for a long time.
