Instant Pot Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar or honey
  • 2 tsp salt
Directions:
  • Sauté butter in the Instant Pot until melted.
  • Add oats and saute for 1-2 minutes, then cancel saute.
  • Add water, milk, sugar, and salt; stir for 30 seconds.
  • Seal lid and select the porridge button. Cook under pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Allow natural pressure release for 15-20 minutes, or self-release after 10 minutes if preferred.
