Ingredients
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 8 oz cheese (cheddar, gruyere, or your choice)
- 8 oz elbow pasta
- Additional cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium saucepan, combine corn starch, salt, mustard, and pepper.
- Stir in milk and butter, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it boils.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
- Add cooked pasta and mix until coated with cheese sauce.
- Pour mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle with extra cheese.
- Bake for 25-35 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
