Ingredients
- 7 oz almond paste
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg white
- Pignoli nuts or crushed macadamia nuts
- Powdered sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crumble almond paste in a mixer.
- Add sugar and beat 2-4 minutes until smooth.
- Add egg white and blend 2 minutes; dough should be sticky.
- Roll dough into balls and coat with pignoli or macadamia nuts.
- Place on prepared baking sheet and bake until lightly golden.
- Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
